What are allergies?
Allergies are an unusual and inappropriate response to external factors such as pollen, animal hair, detergents, food, and the like. The body defends itself against allergens by producing mucus and trying to flush allergens out of the body. Symptoms are often sneezing, coughing, breathing problems, and irritation of the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose, throat, and lungs or localized to another organ.

Malvasan is made in an old-fashioned way. Add a bag of Malvasan mixture and natural honey to 1 liter of red wine. Bottle with the herbal mixture, wine, and honey is left in a dark place and at room temperature for 4 days. After 4 days, drain the herbs, leaving only the wine tincture, and take 3 times a day. This folkway of preparing this remedy, although a little unusual, is a gentle and powerful supplement that even children can drink. The tannin from red wine helps marshmallow roots and comfrey to release their properties.
We are proud of the long tradition in the production of herbal remedies, which was passed on to us by our grandpa Antun. Grandpa Antun also suffered from allergies, and this recipe is one of his first herbal remedy with which he started phytotherapy 40 years ago.
